How it works! Option A: Send poems you wish to work on (by post or e-mail). Option B: Receive prompts (a negotiated assignment) and send your responses. BOTH options: the comments you receive will be extensive and will generally include relevant thoughts and examples from other artists (not always poets). They will be intended to lead to further writing, either re-writing or new work (or both). General comments relating to a poem or poems will be given in addition to highly specific comments relating to individual sounds, words, and effects. There are no deadlines for submitting work and no restrictions on the kind of poetry that might be submitted. Up to six (6) pages of poems in option A would attract a fee of $40 (Australian). Three (3) major questions or topics in option B would attract the same charge, though payment would not be required until after the questions had been viewed and accepted. Larger projects can be submitted, but would attract a proportionally larger fee. All efforts will be made to ensure feedback is given promptly once payment has been received. In all sessions, the intent will be to promote the writing and re-writing of new and existing poems. Some poems will be able to be published on this website and broader opportunities for publication will also be able to be discussed. Multiple submissions, over months or years, are common and are generally enjoyed by all involved. They are not, however, necessary. There is no obligation. If you choose to share your details with other participants, you may also use the programme as a way of meeting other poets. I look forward to hearing from you.
"Like a snake, my heart has shed its skin. I hold it here in my hand, full of honey and wounds." Federico Garcia Lorca
